Holmes Needs to Sharpen her Skills
Holmes doesn’t spend the time needed to effectively interview others. It’s like watching a kitten try to catch a butterfly. She needs to organize her interview. She needs to write down her questions in advance so she doesn’t ramble. They should be succinct so we listen more to the interviewee instead of her. The Zone 2 interview had a lot of potential. She never had Laursen define what fat oxidation was, its mechanics, why Zone 2 increases it, etc. Based on the intro, Laursen knows a lot about this subject, but she didn’t bring it out. Instead she veered to diabetes, need for good sleep, clean sheets, menopause, and snoring. This isn’t the first of her interviews I’ve come away with more annoyed than knowledgeable.
