“I'm fairly new to listening to this podcast from Allison Broder. Its premise is simply amazing in the respect that she invites guests who are into the Horror film genre for different reasons. I've been new to the Horror community for about three years now, and I approach it through the storytelling and worldbuilding potential and rich lore that this genre could have just like sci-fi and other genres. For me, Horror is more than it's gore and slicing and dicing. To be brief, I champion a controversial backstory of Michael Myers that gives nuance and transforms his character from a babysitter killer on Halloween to something more; a Chosen One.
