“5 years in Love Over addiction, I’ve been guided to detach healthily from my AH and it’s been 4 years on..
I was already 1 foot out the door for at least 10 years before that.
Each conscious peaceful moment I make now is because I’ve discovered this program.
It was exactly what I needed, I was constantly in trauma state but listening to this opened my insight of how I got entwined in someone else's pain and troubles.
Now I understand I can choose for me and align myself with my decision - that’s the only control I truly have.
These profound, honest and confronting podcasts ( and the programs ) have allowed me to be real with myself - not to continue the finger pointing or feeling constantly in upheaval because of what AH did it didn’t do.
And I’m writing this as each month I get a new lesson even though it has been 4 years since separating- this week I realised that I stayed because I was waiting for the ‘good person ‘ to show up and that would mean it would have all been worth it. So I waited and waited supported, suffered, tolerated all kinds of messed up behaviours.
I do not regret any of it as I could not be any different at the time.
But each lesson,
these God sent knowings & offerings from Michelle continued to keep me in check with other relationships and new relationships I have formed.
There’s one common ingredient ME !
All I know my self preservation is front and foremost now for me and my children.
Turns out my joyful disposition never went away and my positivity just got stronger.
I started to feel beautiful in my body again and my true smile showed up.
