“I’ve been listening to Sarah’s podcasts since I finished reading her book- This One Wild and Precious Life- 18 or so months ago, and they are outstanding, as is her book. She wrestles with all the sticky topics of our time and carries us with her on her journey to figure out what the hell to do about it all, or at least how to sit with it, process it and forge a path forward. If you struggle to find the right tribe to talk to about the global environmental issues that you’re grappling with, Sarah is the best friend you don’t need to persuade round to your point of view before having the deep and honest conversation you’re craving. She’s singing from the same song sheet, and you can listen to her chatting through with her podcast guests those gnarly issues with clarity, compassion and brilliant eloquence. She’s having the conversations many of us lack the audience, bravery or articulation to have ourselves and listening into them is like a balm for the mind and soul. We are not alone. She’s a rock uniting people with common concerns and creating a space for sanity in what often feels like an insane world. I am deeply grateful for her and all the brilliant work she does. Do give any of her episodes a listen, but the two with Nate Hagans and Margaret Wheatley would be a great place to start to understand where I believe her current thinking is at (Sarah, please correct me if I’m wrong!).”
