Hypocrisy?
Sometimes people put so much energy into attacking others they fail to see their own prejudices. It takes only short time (episode 2) for the podcasters to stereotype and judge the elderly in our country. Their “ageism” is exposed as they say that at the age advanced of 63 Laura should have been slowing down… can you believe it! - she was 63 when she started writing- 63… yes 63! … the insinuation was what was she thinking … this isn’t what the elderly should do, can do, or even attempt at such an advanced age. This is nothing more than stereotyping, generalizing, and demeaning- cautioning anyone else who is at such an advanced age step away from such endeavors. Is this a legitimate criticism of their podcast?… maybe. And just maybe they ought to be a bit more introspective before they hurl stones at others… just sayin’

More reviews of Wilder
My childhood summers were dominated by escaping into Laura’s life. It’s been amazing having that experience again, with a fresh twist.

Forget what you think you know about Laura Ingalls Wilder. The behind the scenes drama of the story is engrossing. Can’t wait for the next episode.
