I’ve listened for many years and was pretty devastated when the episodes stopped. While it forced me to find some other podcasts, some of which are really funny, deep, or able to teach me something, none are all of them with the non-stereotypical Aussie perspective. I’m so glad Wilosophy is...Read full review »

Fab interview with Chris Ryan - I wasn’t familiar with her work but loved the chat so much, I’ll definitely be checking out her show if she comes to the Adel Fringe! And Wil’s interview with the late Jock Zonfrillo was very special. Thanks Wil x

Masterful interviewer getting the best out of a truly diverse and interesting collection of guests. Love it! Looking forward to more.

Great. I don’t like the begging for money
Penein via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 09/26/22
It’s entertaining and funny while being interesting, but I have learned so much about myself and the work by listening to his guests talk about themselves, their lives and their experiences. You get to know these people and the things going on in their lives in an incredible way and that has...Read full review »

I have been going back and listening to every single past episode this year as there are no new eps and I miss it! It’s so great to see Wil’s growth over the years too, as some episodes are nearly 10 years old now. He honestly tries so hard and is always learning. I appreciate the huge variety of...Read full review »

This is more of a thanks than a review. I really enjoy the show, Wil and hope things are going well for you.

I do love this podcast….. but Will, when you’re interviewing women in particular… just a bit of shhhhh please ❤️❤️❤️ When you talk too much about your learning (learning being admirable and necessary) you centre you- not the woman/person of colour being interviewed. But great chats, love ya!!

All my life, boyfriends have told me I’m afraid of commitment. I would argue that I’m not; I’ve been in a relationship with the Wilsophy pod for 5 years and it has been more intellectually fulfilling then most of my relationships 😂 Keep up the good work Wil, rate all your shows at your...Read full review »

I love this podcast. Wil has always been my favourite comedian. Australia’s answer to Armchair expert.

I’ve always been a Wil Anderson fan, I’m just pretty new to podcasts. Wil has a great range of guests and the discussions are thoughtful, funny and worth listening to.
emmadilemma$ via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/08/21
Intelligent, thought provoking and funny. Finding out what makes people tick is so interesting and Wil brings out the personalities of his guests so well. An added bonus - it’s a f-wit-free zone!

I’m a gardener and listen to this amongst my time in the bushes. I’ve had numerous beautiful moments of connection whilst listening to this all alone amongst the leaves. Thank you Wil, I am grateful this podcast exists. Please get Paul Dempsey back - that episode was not long enough.

I love listening to people from different backgrounds and beliefs to me. People who I wouldn’t normally interact with. Will does a great job of connect you to each persons life story, opening your mind and heart to hearing what they’re all about.

Listened to my first Wilosophy with Shaun Micallef today. Loved the organic intertwining of both speakers’ intellectual discourse, with self effacing humour and quick witted jokes. Really great listening. Excited to check out more of this podcast. And how awesome is Shaun Micallef. He’s a...Read full review »

Love this show but seriously the preamble is between 8 and 10min long EVERY episode I’ve listened to. PLEASE reduce this to under 2min like similar shows. You are loosing my attention and I’m zoned out by the time the interview starts.

Usually really enjoy this podcast, however, am sick of hearing Will just talk about himself constantly. Especially in the Judith Lucy episode. I’ve listened to quite a few Wilosophy’s over the last 4 months, subscribed via Patreon even, but Nelly Thomas kicks it to a whole new level, she wasn’t on my radar before but after hearing the latest I went back and listened to the earlier 2 podcasts. Podcasts are designed to be listened to at any time, not in real time. Present tense references (yesterday, today, tomorrow) just don’t work. You need to reference day/month/year. Also 10 minutes of show plug waffle at the start of the Tom Tilley show is tiresome. Can you be more creative with...Read full review »

Will has a great way of making his guests open up, in a genuine & thoughtful way, as well as being willing to answer his guests questions as they go along. Love the honesty & the humor. Listen to it on the way home from work, or sometimes before bed. Would highly recommend it.

Wil interviews people who are comedians, sportspeople, other sorts of famous including his neighbours. You won’t like them all - they are all so different. Instead You will find ones that you absolutely love. Don’t expect wall to wall comedy - this is broader and deeper.
mezdez via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/23/21
I love this podcast. I used to just listen to the eps with people that I knew but it’s equally as good with the guests that you’re not familiar with. Wil is a great host that takes the time and gets so much out of every interview.
Breeana L via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/19/21
If you enjoy podcasts where the host is more interested in trying to be more funny than his subjects or interviewees, this is the podcast for you. Will Anderson is both self-serving and lacklustre. A bore.

It was a smorgasbord of masturbastion - Charles shrivels to make a Muslim joke but sees no hypocrisy to call Christians horrible - what a tosser - note, I am not a Christian or a right winger- the worst podcast I have heard in 2020
