Love the podcast but a small criticism
Great podcasts. Wisecrack analyzes themes well and reference great outside sources. However, in the midst of talking about greater themes like agency, good and evil, life and it's meaning(lessness), there's little talk about smaller surface level things like alcoholism, drug use, family dynamics, growing up, etc. There isn't much talk about how animation and character motivations also play a role. This kind of makes their conversation less grounded and a bit too theoretical. Like, there's a lot of talk about what Rick and Morty represent but not much about what Rick and Morty want as individual characters. Sometimes that stuff touched in questions but still. That may be the intent of the podcast and that's really a nit picky critique anyway so don't mind my dumb ramblings.
