Missing the wisdom
I generally like this pod but I feel like it often misses the mark with the wisdom we can gain from these remarkable women, with an unneeded emphasis on their roles as mothers and wives. For example just as Alice Waters is going to talk about society and food she is told to switch gears and asked about how she was able to run a restaurant as a mother, similar with Jane Goodall where the focus was on her family rather than her contributions and messages for conservation.

What a wonderful podcast! There’s not an ounce of fluff here. Julia GOES THERE about life, marriage, ambition, cancer, death, and more.
