Julia and her guests have been very informative and realistic with their sharing of their life experiences. Being a US MARINE (hard core) I was so enamored with the kindness and respect Julia interviewed the guests and I really like how she talks to her mom at the end of the show. I had been...Read full review »

I just LOVE this podcast! It is witty, vulnerable, wise (of course). The guests are all amazing & JLD is a great interviewer. A gf recommended it and I have been binge-listening since then (thank you Marieta for making me wiser :-)). Long Live “Wiser than Me”.

Truly inspirational guests, interviews that feel like conversations between friends, and a conversation with Mommy to wrap the show up - it just doesn’t get any better than this. I laugh, I cry, and I reflect on how to incorporate some of the wisdom into my own life. I look forward to every...Read full review »

Is too good to associate herself with this podcast company. I hear many bad things about the running of this company. Very sad. Hope she finds a better place to have this show.

I really enjoy all of JLD's work. This is a great podcast, wonderful guests. Candid and informative conversations abound. I like the accolades passed between our hostess and her guests. I think the visits with her Mommy to cap off the shows are most dear. I do find Julia's extreme use of...Read full review »

Women of a certain age (50s and 60s) will recognize a friend in Julia Louis-Dreyfus. You’ve known her since you were young, but never had a chance to get to know her like this. She brings in the best guests to discuss life as we have lived it. This podcast fills a gap in the pod landscape that I...Read full review »

Julia obviously enjoys interviewing her guests and the interviews are great. Unfortunately the interview doesn’t start until at least eight minutes into the episode. A lot of commercials and her monologue. Also too many commercials during the episode.

I love this show. I love the wisdom and insight from these older wiser women which encourages me to ponder how I approach the third act myself. I truly smile as I listen. Julia’s language is a little shocking- she could out curse a college football team, but I love her anyway!
