Offensive and sad
It makes me sad to write this review. In fact, I wrote a rave review for season 1. I loved the episode with Carol Burnett. But I’m blown away by the fact that Julia found it completely acceptable to make an offensive joke about priests and to speak negatively about the Pope in the first few moments of the most recent episode. She was speaking to Catherine O’Hara who seemed shocked and uncomfortable because, as she noted, she is Catholic. Julia would never make jokes insulting Jewish people to an Jewish guest or Muslim people to a Muslim guest. The lack of awareness was shocking and sad.

I’m so beautifully shocked by their level of honesty. It’s so refreshing. Exactly what I needed in my life.

I am in my early 50s and lost my mom before I was even 10. I find at my age now more than ever wanting that connection with an older wiser woman to help guide me through these older years. This podcast is exactly what I need and I love it!
