Binged this in a day haha! So much great info and it really got me thinking! Thank you!

I absolutely love this podcast. The concept of the witch is, as India notes early on, nebulous; “witch” is such a small yet expansive word. This podcast does a wonderful job delving into the nooks and crannies of the term from a variety of perspectives and includes insightful interviews with...Read full review »

This was a truly gorgeous podcast and I’m absolutely gutted that it’s now over. It was insightful, reverent and made feel a want to know more. I will be coming back to this podcast again and sincerely hope there is some kind of follow up. Please give it a listen. Thank you India x

I was so hooked I listened to all the episodes in one sitting. An absolutely fascinating look at witchcraft in history and how it’s viewed and used in modern times. Laughter and tears.

I binged this series because it’s empowering and part of me really drawn to witchcraft. I was surprised to find the link between the witch hunt and patriarchy but it all makes sense. Highly recommended

I really Enjoyed this podcast and it’s almost sad that I just listned to the last episode. So much information to process and to bring with me on my own path in witchcraft.

Love everything about this. The soothing voice and amazing research that has been done. I really need more, a season 2-50 would be great lol 😊

Very interesting podcast. Talks about the modern day and history as well. Unfortunately Apple Podcasts have let us all down by using the same description for every single episode so you have no idea what the episode is actually about. Look the descriptions up online instead.

This podcast is one of the most well made podcasts I’ve ever listened to (and I listen to a lot!). I wish there were more! Going on my 3rd time of listening!

I felt so moved by India’s voice, I felt I was on this journey with her!! I cried, A lot!! Was so powerful, heartwarming, heartbreaking and raw! The people interviewed shared their stories, not through fear or religion but facts! it’s made me feel less afraid and connected to the magic that’s in...Read full review »

I listen to absurd amounts of podcasts/audiobooks/radio - I always have, I grew up with at least one radio being on somewhere in the house at all times - and this is one of the best pieces of audio art and learning I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It’s also reached far - I had 4...Read full review »

The parallels this draws from the persecution of women hundreds of years ago with the colonialism and racism of the patriarchal, capitalistic world is enthralling, dehumanizing those who represent the old world as a tool to usurp power to build the new.

I love podcasts and have listened to thousands over the last few years. This series is the best I’ve heard yet.

A real gem of a series. Highly recommend. My only complaint is that it’s done and that the atmospheric sounds were at times intense. I didn’t feel like the background noise of witches chanting or breathing added anything but increasing stereotypes. And it made listening a bit overwhelming....Read full review »

I „binge-listened“ to this podcast. Loved the combonation of personal stories and scientific-historical background. I feel like I have listened to a story about the oppression of women that unfortunately feels very current. My wish/feedback: Is there a list of literature and names you are...Read full review »

I found this both tragic in the treatment of people, mostly women, society chose not to understand and empowering in the recognition of that and the practices still observed today. It’s also an important reminder to not repeat the mistakes of our past.

I’ve only started listening and I already fell like I’ve found what I am. It explains that a lot of people feel like witches and that it’s not something your alone with.
