Great story, but bad editing
I lived in the area as a teenager and heard all kinds of stories about the drug runners etc. Later in life I read a book on Pablo Acosta while I was working in the oilfield. I would ask different Hispanic people about him (because he had died years before) and they would speak in hushed tones and say he wasn’t really dead. So many intriguing stories from the Marfa and Presidio area! That being said, either I got a bad download or whoever edited this wasn’t paying attention. Ads would start playing in the middle of a sentence, or someone would be talking and suddenly a whole different conversation would cut in. Also repeats of lines as the narrator was trying to get it right. I knocked a star off for that. Otherwise it would be a five star! Great story!

Well worth a listen. I stepped out of my normal genre and fell into this incredible story. What a captivating podcast, well researched and nicely told. Every episode had me wanting more and now I’m waiting for season 2,3&4 please.

I lived and worked in the Big Bend during this time period and I found the eye witness accounts true blue and right on the money.
