Because it is. So amazing.
The writing is amazing, the acting is amazing, the sound effects are amazing (the sound effects! I don't know why I always get so hung up on this, but there's just such a specific tone created by the combination of the music and the background noises and... wow).
The characters are intensely three-dimensional and the plot—once it does begin to pick up—is incredibly compelling, and somehow even when it's at it's most intense it still manages to be funny when it wants to be.
