Not what it used to be
The last year or so has not been good for Woman’s Hour. The departure of two experienced presenters combined with COVID restrictions means the show is no longer the pleasurable listen it used to be. Emma is far too an abrasive an interviewer for a program that should be championing women’s causes and their roles. But a bigger issue is the lack of in-person interviews - the remote recordings are frequently poor and sometimes unlistenable. Now COVID restrictions have ended, please bring guests back into the studio.
