Best storytelling podcast I've heard
Love this podcast. There's a lot of hype right now around serialized podcasts, fictional and nonfictional, and this is my favorite fictional one that I've heard so far. A lot of people like The Truth and Limetown, but I think Wooden Overcoats has the levity and comedic timing that make it more convincing and seemingly effortless. It's much easier to get lost in the story because I'm not distracting myself with over analyzing the acting or the script or production. It's so good and funny that I just get lost in the jokes and story.Read full review »

-and not a morbid line in sight! Woodhouse-ian in terms of wit and fun, with frankly loopy, but comfortingly cosy characters set in a small, insulated island village. Total escapism and much, much chuckling to be had. Highly recommended.

Wooden Overcoats never fails to make me laugh out loud, what more could you ask for? Absurd and hilarious characters, great story, just all around enjoyable.
