When I started attending an Anglican Church I aggressively looked for podcasts to help me “get my mind around it”. My theology was formed by Baptist/Baptistic churches. Not only is the Podcast itself foundation, but I found St. Paul’s House of Formation through, which I also strongly recommend.

I was raised Southern Baptist, so really never heard any of this. This is the best podcast I’ve ever listened to and I hope it goes on forever! They cover so many topics, but both hosts do a great job of teaching the history and making it relatable/memorable.

Was raised a happy Episcopalian, but not a reformed Christian. Over a long slow process became a happy reformed Christian. But missed the blood and flesh of a church tradition. Word & Table helps me connect the two me’s. Thank you and God bless you.

As a presbyterian, I'm someone fuzzy on the organizational structure and theological underpinnings of the Anglican Church. I appreciate that this podcast is both informative and conservative.Read full review »

Do you have a book or website recommendation that shows the symbols you mentioned in your latest episode?
_Smitty via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/14/21
Just listened to the episode on Christian symbols. Alex and Stephen may be interested to know that a family who has been tattooing pilgrims for several centuries is still running a tattoo shop for those purposes in Jerusalem. On our 2020 pilgrimage several of our party got ink there.

I am a member of The Episcopal Church and while there is a sad division between us and the ACNA, I can say the depth of this podcast is amazing! It covers the history of the Church and clearly answers questions that many people would have. A great podcast for Church nerds (like me) and new...Read full review »
