Lots of potential, but needs more... work
I’ve listened to the first season of this podcast and just started season 2, and the impression I get now is basically the same - the idea is great, there is lots of potential, but I'm often left with an unsatisfactory impression after each interview. David Plotz’s style was too dry, and now Adam Davidson seems not to even try it. It doesn’t seem that he is ever preparing for the interviews, it’s like he’s just happy to let his guests talk about themselves, and he’s only trying to get along them and seem friendly. Like a part-time job, done between other more stuff. Disappointing. :(Read full review »
