Arun misses premise of podcast
Current host Arun is too interested in his own agenda for this show with a very specific premise. He spent the entire "casting director" episode asking questions about diversity ("should Idris Elba(sp?) be James Bond"), how the guest got into the business, and "what do you tell people who want to get cast/be actors?" I still don't know how a casting director gets paid, how he gets clients, how many casting calls he does per day, how does he get people to audition, differences between types of castings, etc...I didn't learn how a casting director works. Disappointing. I'm unsubscribing again. Maybe the next host will get it.Read full review »

More reviews of Working
This podcast has a boring premise so I didn't think it would be fun to listen to. But I love it! I've learned a lot. No frills production. Great questions. Interesting guests.Read full review »

These are interviews with very interesting people. David Plotz does a great job of asking questions so that you can understand what each job feels like to the person doing the job. I really enjoy listening to it.
