corny hosts
the musical guests are great but sound stifled in conversation with the awkward/vanilla hosts, who have the least personality of anyone in podcasting. it’s occasionally funny to listen to their canned Q&A routine with artists but it’s mostly like listening to someone read you their music history homework at a party. just hard to listen to

I thoroughly recommend having a listen to World Cafe. The presenter David Dye is a sort of American Bob Harris who is clearly a fan as well as an afficionado. He has some great guests from a wide variety of musical genres and the sessions are relaxed and intimate sounding. Definitely worth tuning...Read full review »
