Very Disappointing Change to ABC Podcast

“For several years Ms. Sawyer and her predecessor Charlie Gibson had versions of ABC World News (Tonight, Now, and just "World News") available for video podcast viewing on the iTunes store. Being in Boarding School and later College I found their podcasts a wonderful way to stay in touch with the news as watching World News Tonight was not a viable option most of the time. You can imagine my shock and disgust when I realized that the video podcasts were no longer available for viewing. Instead, you now have to use the ABC Player on the ABC website, which is fine, but the material is not uploaded as quickly as these podcasts used to be. I understand ABC's desire to hold onto its video content, it just is a disappointing shame. I've switched over to NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams specifically because I can download the podcasts from that network and they're typically up only two or three hours after the show has aired. I strongly would like to respectfully ask if ABC could bring back these podcasts in the Video Format, but realize its probably just a pipe dream.”Read full review »

“Like the audio a lot, and sawyer is great, but this is the only podcast of several that I have set up to subscribe that never actually adds new podcast episodes automatically. Please fix this.
