A good story but very amateurish in it’s telling. Just reading from a series of accounts. The male presenter sound as though he’s reading a kid’s bedtime story!

This series has been helping me a lot. I'm an English student and in the last year I took a Cambridge proficiency test and now, I'm taking the IELTS. My listening skills have improved as well as my vocabulary. I love your investigations and I’m thrilled that this new season starts in my...Read full review »

Impressive. This podcast shows us the huge and lasting inpact on victims of abuse. Their misplaced feelings of guilt and silence in fear of repercussions from the perpetrators. Victims have a life sentence and derserve our sympathy and support. Let’s hope that justice will be served.

While I’m too old and too curvy to wear the clothes, I know I’m cool 😊 and I also know this podcast is the coolest. A&F? These guys are predator trash. That said, podcast is right up my alley… clear, concise, factual, no fluff… that’s BBC for you. Bummed my current season is up to date. Guess...Read full review »

I listened to season 1 and this was the first thing I thought of when the arrests happened. Wow. Amazing work.

Why so salacious? Why does this sound like two college students taking turns reading an essay? The reporter is a decent narrator. The other is stilted: “She climbs in. And drives off. Into the night.” Heavy-handed writing weighs the story down. The guests are engaging though!

Nobody buys “candy” in Harrods… I understand why you want to sell this to the us market but it is galling from a bbc produced series…

Just listened to the Disciples. What articulate, brave and worthy women we heard from. You deserve every happiness and joy in your freedom and healing from unspeakable horrors. Thank you for sharing your stories. Fascinating investigative journalism. Highly recommend.

This is a story that should not have happened. We need to ensure that rich predatory men are brought to justice BEFORE they are dead. Women who have been abused (if you have the strength) and all those men and women who are currently turning a blind eye to, or enabling such behaviour need to come...Read full review »

I’ve only listened to S1 (on A&F) which was well told, well produced, and a scarily fascinating story. Impressive work.

This show handles this incredibly disturbing story so perfectly. Telling the survivors stories very thoughtfully and shedding light on yet another billionaire predator.

Why oh why do we get 7 minutes or so in to have listening interrupted by an introduction? So many podcasts are ruined by this and it’s prevalent on many bbc podcasts. It ruins the flow of the things and many podcasts I’ve given up on just purely because of this annoying interruption

Are you kidding me?! These girls appear to have no common sense if they are to be believed. These girls knew exactly where things were headed, they stayed in their jobs week after week, month after month. Scared?! I’d say greedy. For shame. Very gripping research, all three seasons had me at the tip of my chair the whole time. Absolutely brilliant piece revealing the depraved depths of a sociopath accepted and condoned by every day people living in apartheid. Whilst the content is reasonably well researched, please do some fact checks. A non white South African would NEVER have been conscripted to the SA Defence Force during Apartheid. There is no reason why Edward Soenies would have had to dodge conscription.

The stories covered and the way they’re presented is really great. However, there’s some very oddly timed sound effects that I think are supposed to indicate a break or transition.
