Still no mention of
Human trafficking. Why am I 3 episodes in and it hasn’t been mentioned at all. and this is a PERFECT series to shed light on these very real life risk factors and examples of human trafficking versus the many extreme examples social media perpetrates (everyone being kidnapped and rescued by Liam Nelson). Force fraud and coercion and someone else gaining clear as day by episode 1. The quote from the First man, Barrett, is played over and over in the first three episodes. The reporter is doing a good job of trying to understand but the first guy explains it- in perfect language. I hope as I finish listening to this series I hear some level of accountability or calling this what it truly was. Thank you to these men for sharing their trauma with the world. I hope it gives words to many who are at risk or struggling.

This is a thought provoking and compelling podcast. It investigates a complex story with contributions from brave individuals, sensitively told with respect and humility.

This excellent production had me me riveted from start to finish. The nuance of details, like the decor of the hair salon, with Abercrombe uniformed staff, takes us into the creepy depths of this real life horor story.
