Great concept- poor execution family of 4 elements school kids
With 4 elementary school kids (K/2/4/5) and believing Guy Raz's 'How I built this' podcast is the best pod cast I ever heard, I decided to give it a shot with my kids. The topics on the first episode - the undiscovered 9th planet in the Solar system, why humans are more intelligent than any other species and how gratitude is physically healthy were all excellent topics for this audience. The problem I hate to say is his co-host(ess). The show could do with a co-host and she may be the right one but her high pitched inane commentary had my kids begging to turn her off. There's a difference between stupid and fun and my kids believed she was sadly on the wrong side of it. You have the makings of a great show- smart, fun and interesting. No need to dumb it down in that way. Please keep it up and I'll get my kids to give it another shot as anything away from the screen time like this effort is awesome and wish there was more.Read full review »

Very informative and funny at the same time. This is a great show!!! Mindy & Guy have the greatest chemistry together. Anyone who disagrees, does not understand comedy.

My kids and I are a HUGE Brains On! fans, so when we heard there was a new science podcast coming out, we were excited! What a COMPLETE letdown! The hosts are really, really annoying, and seem to talk down to the kids, rather than treat them like the curious people they are. I'm glad there...Read full review »
