“With 4 elementary school kids (K/2/4/5) and believing Guy Raz's 'How I built this' podcast is the best pod cast I ever heard, I decided to give it a shot with my kids.
The topics on the first episode - the undiscovered 9th planet in the Solar system, why humans are more intelligent than any other species and how gratitude is physically healthy were all excellent topics for this audience.
The problem I hate to say is his co-host(ess). The show could do with a co-host and she may be the right one but her high pitched inane commentary had my kids begging to turn her off. There's a difference between stupid and fun and my kids believed she was sadly on the wrong side of it.
You have the makings of a great show- smart, fun and interesting. No need to dumb it down in that way.
