“I was looking forward to leaving a review of this fun and educational show after hearing the first couple of episodes...and on the way I saw a few of the other reviews from some rather apoplectic folks. Wow! No wonder it took NPR around 40 years to gin up the courage to put out something with kids and families in mind, there's no winning for some folks. Have courage, NPR! This show is what you need.
Something the Muppets might have taught some of these rather serious parents - Silly is not the same as Not Smart. There are so many ways to deliver information to kids and families; and they're all empowering, because we're all getting smarter. I think that's the point?
For my part, I'm so glad that this show doesn't sound like an NPR podcast for adults that was 'kidified', or like another class period at school that my kids didn't sign up for.

“Just listening to the promo gave me a headache. My 12 year-old and 8 year-old prefer the Minnesota Public Radio podcast Brains On.
The host of Wow has a headache inducing voice. I Am NOT impressed with this show for my children.
