What a literate podcast about literature should be!
Have only listened to four so far but the analyses have been probing, intelligent and grasping (in a good way) for the elemental in the works. The guests selected have avoided the usual mono-colour of a single perspective (some of Melvyn Bragg’s stuff) or let the “wanted” nuance get in the way. This stuff is a revelation for the many of us who regret dozing through hangovers in lecture halls and wasting the opportunity to understand the importance of the primary sources in their youth.
