“I mean, I already had an iTunes account, I just hadn't gotten around to downloading it on a new computer, but I finally did the thing for the sake of reviewing the Write Now podcast.
I was so overjoyed and relieved when I listened to Sarah Werner and found that she handled the subject of writing with not only enthusiasm and excitement, but also with delicacy and empathy. She manages to give tips and advice without coming across as condescending or as judgmental, or any descriptor that I would consider negative at all. Like most people, I work a day job that I am not thrilled about, but I stick with to pay the bills. The one upside is that I get a lot of freedom to do what works better for me, which often means listening to podcasts. There are many days where I queue up the Write Now podcast (and its sister show, the Coffee Break podcast) and listen to it for 8 hours straight, and I have never found Sarah to be anything other than delightful, affirming, and encouraging.
