Fundamental and truly great
The greatest thing about Writing Excuses - for me - has been that I've been able to go back to almost all episodes in any season and re-listen to them and feel inspired every time. It truly makes you want to write, and gives you confidence that you can do it. The format is fantastic - 15 minutes long because... - and the speakers are fun and engaging, and their topics diverse. I've been listening to this for years and I'll keep going back to it every time I feel the urge to write.Read full review »

This podcast is ideally titled. It is all about excuses NOT to write. Talk about tv, watch tv, absolutely. Teach people how to be hacks? This show does it in spades.
