“There are dozens of flaces a new writer can go to learn about the craft. In my opinion, Writing Excuses should be their first stop.
I discovered this podcast about three years ago and have not put it down since. I find every one of the Casters to be intelligent, helpful, motivating, and entertaining. Even if you find you don't like their style, they are worth listening to just for the resources they will uncover for you. And come on, it's only 15 minutes.
