An interesting listen for this San Francisco liberal
I'm a liberal trying to keep myself from becoming cocooned in liberal news. I like this podcast along with national review to help me think about the GOP and their POV on important issues. But honestly.....and many people are saying this...many people ...there is nothing sadder than hearing a great journalist like Paul Gigot twisting himself into pretzels over and over trying to explain and justify the Trump / Murdoch / Ailes / supply side racist anti immigrant lunacy. I forsee a deathbed conversion for Gigot. When he bolts straight upright and confesses his sadness for the wasted time he spent promulgating the lies that are so damaging to the majority of his fellow Americans. The hosts are blatantly in the tank for Trump, which is fine if they did not mention disapproval at one time or another for all of his policies. I had come to expect during the Obama years a level of conservative intellectualism and nuance to the opinions page at WSJ. I come to find that the hosts here and now are totally devoid of nuance.
