This is a good summary and discussion of the major news of the day. Excellent production quality, mostly, from the best news source going, IMO. A quibble is that some of the guest interviewees are hard to understand, as their enunciation is sloppy. I feel like political bias is largely absent—as...Read full review »

I appreciate the news coverage, but the pace of this podcast goes too quick for my taste. The reporters are jumping to the next topic before I can absorb what was just said.

I value the WSJ. However, these WSJ podcasts could be so much better. They seem to be trying to appeal to a younger demographic and so, as is usually the case in these unskilled attempts, they dumb it down and use goofy 20 something talk when they discuss issues. The lack of background and the...Read full review »

I like the tone of this newscast. No drama, just information with a business focus. Thanks WSJ!!

This is such a great podcast. You get some quality information in a short amount of time which is key. It’s the Wall Street Journal what else can I say? This goes without saying – A really nice job

I think these might be new but they’re driving me away. Hope we can omit those for the great core product of brief, broad news updates. Thx

My favorite news podcast. A great morning no update.
Carlafcleuropa via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/11/21
The core news stories (about the first three or four minutes) are a great summary of what is happening. However, when the go to their reporters in the field, sometimes their politically leanings shine through which disappoints.

Consistent leftist bias. Reporting on state laws on voting and abortion restrictions describes them as “unconstitutional “ . Asking for ID in voting is simple common sense and completely constitutional. There is no constitutional right to abortion, an idea that would have been abhorrent to its...Read full review »

I’ve been a listener for a while, and I’ve stuck around and truly appreciate this podcast as one of my news sources thanks to their selection of the top news and how fairly (and objectively) they deliver the content.

Annemarie Fertoli has the voice of an angel. This podcast gets to the point.

This podcast has excellent coverage and professional hosts. Unfortunately they have segments from regular contributors who clearly are not broadcast journalists. They generally use voice inflections that are very unprofessional and would be eliminated with training. Sometimes called uptalk or...Read full review »

I am not an Apple user, but since this seems to be the only way to review podcasts, and I was here reviewing another... I figure I may as well stop by and drop notes on a few others. I have been listening for about a year or so. I'm not great at following the news, but I've found I enjoy...Read full review »

I find this must listening. However the WSJ is the WSJ. The cadre of inept reporters they air who pepper their reports with valley girl speech “ he was like..and then I was like”, hemming and hawing hesitations like 90 year olds, and similar vocalizations need to be stuffed back into their cubes.

Annmarie Fertoli constantly say the date and wsj catch line wrong, I don’t know why she’s the host of this show. Also has way too many ads, this is unacceptable.

Because I haven’t been listening long, I will not give a one-star review. I have been on the hunt for short, non-biased news sources which stick to facts. It seems a pretty low bar to clear. Male and female are scientific and medical terms, not political. When a news agency abandons the...Read full review »

I just heard a report on how African Americans are at a disadvantage for refinancing due to all the closing costs. Isn’t it rather rude to say that it’s a race issue? What about Hispanic, Asian and even Caucasian’s who are unable to afford it. Bridge the gap in financial costs not race.

I can’t seem to forget that this media is part of the Murdoch media spiderweb. No matter what is reported I know that it is a manipulative narrative of distraction by an anti-democratic oligarch.

Not sure if you pay for the WSJ why you would have to listen to commercials on a Podcast. Very annoying

The title says it all. With the number of adds this podcast is difficult to listen to. In addition, I am very much bothered by poor English language skills of some presenters (you can hear gems like this: “China has restricted the amount of children…”)

I stoped listening to this podcast because it was disgustingly one sided when reporting on israel. Anyone have a good morning news update to recommend. This one only does half their job by reporting on half the story 10/10 would not recommend.

I took advice from this podcast last year on negotiating my salary and I ended up getting laid off because of it. Additionally I followed its “business advice” and it never panned out.
