Not sure if you pay for the WSJ why you would have to listen to commercials on a Podcast. Very annoying

Generally covers important US and world news. Some days, both episodes are entirely dedicated to one single social issue and they don't report on any news. Hosts are good but most of the people they have come on to the show just point out the obvious. Reporting is not as balanced as it used...Read full review »

This is the first podcast I have heard that is NOT biased about where they side on. Really focused on facts, some insights on controversial events discussed, and best of all how it affects our overall economy. I love the morning and night segments, even prefer listening to it over my guilty...Read full review »

The title says it all. With the number of adds this podcast is difficult to listen to. In addition, I am very much bothered by poor English language skills of some presenters (you can hear gems like this: “China has restricted the amount of children…”)

If you want news from “woke” junior WSJ reporters then this podcast is for you. Just finished listening to their podcast on origins of Covid 19 and the reporter was lamenting that this process has gotten “political” while never even mentioning the “gain of function” potential enhancements or any...Read full review »

Awesome way to catch up on the news I need quickly, great breakdown of what’s happening and informative interviews with interesting guests

I stoped listening to this podcast because it was disgustingly one sided when reporting on israel. Anyone have a good morning news update to recommend. This one only does half their job by reporting on half the story 10/10 would not recommend.

Listen to a few of their pods everyday and they are all good.

Great way to lear about a few specific news stories. They generally do a good job presenting both sides of an issue.

I took advice from this podcast last year on negotiating my salary and I ended up getting laid off because of it. Additionally I followed its “business advice” and it never panned out. It’s just a bunch of journalists who don’t work in business environments, offering advice on what they hear...Read full review »

Seems like WSJ is the last unbiased source left in legacy media. We need more outlets like this!!

Great unbiased simple news. I loved it and listen twice a day

Please remove the Facebook advertisement. We all know they don’t care about privacy laws and they just want regulars to change them to facebook’s advantage. I hate hearing their advertisement and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

For example, they reported on the Biden spending plan but failed to mention that he wants to double capital gains tax. Don’t you think that’s an important detail for investors?

I’ve listened to this daily for years now. After listening over time, I seriously believe they production team has slowed down the audio to about .85. Because of that, it’s impossible to listen to unless it’s x1.5... Good stuff, but down slow down the audio for more ads!!

Just heard an ad for Facebook on the latest podcast. Due to that, WSJ has lost this listener permanently. Wake up.

Very good overall reporting; I listen daily. Would benefit from fewer interviews with other reporters and more with individuals relevant to the story.

Plz try to vary your advertising content. Don’t want to hear about Facebook on repeat...

I listen daily to get my news, and find the podcast, overall, to keep me well informed. While certainly part of “big media” group think, it’s less openly biased than NPR.

Not as much left leaning as NPR , but presented like an NPR report . Very little insight provided just news you can obtain anywhere else . Nothing special here .

What’s News is how I start my morning every day while getting ready. Less than 15 minutes, this podcast is my favorite to prepare me for what’s going on in the world around us. Just enough market analysis, coupled with top stories makes this podcast one of the best I could ever recommend. Keep it...Read full review »

Having a more objective news source is harder and harder these days, but WSJ does a superb job. I am an annual subscriber to their newspaper as well.

A podcast that only lasts 10-15 minutes doesn’t need to spend the first 90 seconds or more giving a summary of what is going to be discussed in a few minutes (including quotes from a guest that is going to be repeated later). Otherwise the information provided is great. Just lose the unnecessary...Read full review »

My wife and I love the Wall Street Journal and have subscribed to both the paper and the podcast for years; however, recent Covid and political coverage has become increasingly one sided. We have not listened to the podcast for a week because of this. Please resume your objective reporting!

Great podcast that seems to have a very fair and balanced approach to the news. I listen to Fox and NPR to make sure I get both sides. This podcast seems to just report the news accurately without any agenda. Keep it up!

So many reviews mad that the podcast doesn’t give its opinion or go more in depth on certain topics. It’s a 10min episode get over it. How deep can you go?
