Smart and hilarious.
Must-listen for new and old fans alike. I really appreciate the insight into XWP's film influences, and the way these podcasters take a fresh generational eye and apply it to a show that's shown to stand up well over time (in terms of theme, story-telling, and characterization). XWP was, in many ways, ahead of its time. So this is exactly the kind of recuperative work that fan-creators can do with new forms of media (e.g. Podcasting) to help bring light to a show that hasn't received enough acknowledgement for its development of televisual female heroism and subversive gender/sexual politics.
