The Gift of the Gab!
I’m a late-blooming Xenite (totally passed me by in my early adolescence in the late 90s) and a late-blooming lesbian (maybe wouldn’t have been so late if I’d seen Xena at 13) and I am just here for all of this! I can’t find anyone in my circle who is willing to obsess a little over this amazing show, so this is like curling up on the couch with some fellow nerds, and I’m just so appreciative! Too bad I didn’t find this podcast in its early days: I would have volunteered my services as the resident Dr. Pepper of History. I’m not a Classicist, but I taught Western Civ many times, so…good enough. Thanks, ladies, for putting this out in the world.

I really enjoy the podcast but would enjoy it more if when speaking that the commentaries wouldn’t speak so fast. It makes it hard to follow the podcast as it reminds me of someone on fast forward. When doing commentaries it is good to speak slow and concise so that you are easily understood.
