“My previous iTunes review was that this podcast was 90% great. In the intro to the Anthony Jeselnik episode, however, Pete acknowledged my (admittedly, kind of dickish) remark that he is just a fellow introspective person...except he cut through the meanness of my comment and really extracted what I was trying to say. That is, that we introspective/introverted people are weirdos, and our brains operate in a very "navel gazing" manner, regardless of our profession. I also fully relate to Pete's observation that as an introverted person, he creates this sort of invincible character for the stage. It serves as both a mask and as a representation of who we want to be. I do the exact same thing when I am forced to speak publicly. Hurrah for the weirdos.
