“I am not (yet) a D&D player myself but this is podcast gold. Bear with me for the rest of the review... I'm only a few episodes in, but I started to get the feeling Joe wasn't the most polished DM (sorry guys). However, after listening to a number of other 5e actual play podcasts (including one where the DM is voice actor and GM-expert Matthew Mercer) I found my self unavoidably drawn back to You Meet in a Tavern. There's something about the magic of this group and the characters they have created. Every time they meet I feel like I'm sat around the (virtual) table with them. Great effort all, keep it up!
