“I can't imagine a more comprehensive exploration of the Manson family (or for that matter, American culture in the late 1960s), as Karina Longworth has done such a fantastically throrough job. I learned so much about Manson, his followers, and his victims (for instance, I did not know that Doris Day had an indirect connection to Manson). But not only is this series entertaining and informative, it is respectful. It is well-researched and grounded, and Longworth thankfully avoids sensationalizing or focusing unnecessarily on the gory details of the murders. Highly recommended for those interested in Manson or the 1960s.”Read full review »
