Sofa King Confused -Spoilers
The detour that happens between episodes 2-5 is braided so far off the track that by the time a couple weeks go by and the later episodes dropped, I’m so confused! I went back over the episodes to figure out the names and is this about the sister, the childhood and murder/suicide? Then back to catfishing in ep 6 which is that now told by the sister as the dead sister? What happened to that investigation? I think part of the confusion is the names are similar? 3 stars because the catfishing story is great. Either listen to them all at once so you can hopefully follow it better than I could, or listen to episode 1 and 6 and 2-5 if you want backstory. Just too dis-jointed. The background music is great because it’s not imposing, rare for a podcast. I’m on episode 6 and thinking about the sister, is the boyfriends dead wife the sister?which makes zero sense. I’m going to hang on for the insane boyfriend storyline, truly pathological and I’m so sorry these women went through all that awfulness and lies.

Maybe it gets...Read full review »

The storyteller tells her story, well enough, however, there's no clear understanding by the end of this of how her past contributed to who she is and how that led her to being cheated on by somebody. Furthermore, it's not really clear. How a six month relationship was so devastating and...Read full review »

Love the storytelling, it’s very compelling and emotional. The episodes about family left me a little confused, it got so in to the story with the love interest and then took a left turn for several episodes. Either way, it’s all part of the story and all very interesting, it just left me...Read full review »
