Incredibly emotive
Perhaps true crime doesn’t adequately describe the genre of this podcast. Maybe the people that rate it poorly are expecting something even more sinister, alarming and gripping. More instant gratification. I think that speaks volumes about the content we have become so used to consuming without a second thought. This might not be that, but what it is is like a friend opening up to you. It’s like a long night with your oldest friends catching up. It’s raw and emotional. It’s almost a stream of consciousness exploring how your past can influence your present vulnerability and how manipulation causes a ripple effect. It is a group of really brave women telling their truth and taking back their power.
