Confusing podcast
The first episode of this podcast really grabbed my attention. The host is a great storyteller. Unfortunately, there isn’t a cohesive storyline and I found all the following episodes to be a bit disconnected. Episode 1 makes it seem like the podcast is about a boyfriend who turns out to be a fraud and cheater, but a lot of time after that is spent talking about her relationship with her family and the loss of her sister. I’m finished Episode 6 and it doesn’t appear there’s much more to the dating story than what was revealed in the first episode. I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad podcast and I’m sure it must have been cathartic for her to tell her story. If you’ve lost a sibling in a tragic way or know the host personally you would probably connect to the story, but I don’t think this was for me.

The first two episodes were compelling and I got invested in wanting to know what happened with that guy. But in episode 3, the story has shifted in a totally different direction, seemingly unrelated to the first two episodes. Not sure yet if I’ll keep listening.
