“It took far too long into the episode for the cohosts to introduce themselves. And cohost is really an accurate term for it--they're hosts. It is clear they have nothing to do with research, writing, or production of the episodes beyond reading scripts. Are they voice actors?
This "polished" production comes across as inauthentic and is antithetical to what the heart of the podcast and podcast experience is.
I was disappointed because I received push notifications about this show from two podcasts that get this right and immediately subscribed. After about ten minutes of the first episode I couldn't take it anymore (it feels like an audiobook or an episode of Dateline) and stopped listening and unsubscribed.”Read full review »
