Description
b8ta, a new brick and mortar tech store founded by Vibhu Norby and Phillip Raub is collecting data on your shopping habits. Unlike a traditional store, b8ta’s business model is not built on sales. The store does not make money from selling the products, but from the brands selling the products who pay a monthly fee. b8ta is able to collect data on shopper’s interactions and traffic with products with their 150 in store cameras. They then relay the collected data directly to the manufactures for data analysis.
