“The premise is great, the experts are well chosen, lots of interesting information. I wanted to LOVE this podcast. But Rachel Belle is a bit grating on me for two reasons: 1) she's one of those podcast hosts who tries to have more of a "radio" voice—you can almost hear her thinking about how her voice sounds and trying to make it sound host-y, which is disconcerting because it's very intimate to have someone's else's voice in your ear, so when you do, you really want that voice to be authentic and conversational; 2) she's so self-involved during the interviews! Instead of listening and letting the guest be the star of the interview, she tends to jump in and offer her own opinions and commentary. Save those for the scripted portion of the episode, dude! You'll get more out of your guests and seem more gracious if you focus on them! Pretty specific complaints but they really get on my nerves. Hopefully the show gets stronger as it keeps going because I want to love it.”Read full review »

The guests are varied and wonderfully engaged...”Read full review »

“I love all the areas this show explores: It's about more than just food, but never strays far from it's culinary core. Rachel is curious, energetic, and has made me interested in people & things I didn't know before. This kind of show is what podcasting is all about.”Read full review »
