Sound practical advice
There are many good and bad sources of information for Christians today. Many bad sources are available right here on iTunes. So, what do you do? You need to read the Bible for yourself to get a good understanding for yourself. If you rely on preaching podcasts as your only time in God's word, you may not be getting a healthy diet. Even if it is coming from people that have books on the New York Times best seller list author, it does not mean that it is correct. The only way to discern what is being said is by testing it against the truth of the Bible. Andy Stanley has a sound understanding of God's word and presents it in a way that makes it easier to apply it to your life and situation. Use this podcast as part of your learning from God's word. When you look at the scriptures and test it, you will find that it is not a "cherry picked" verse that is taken out of context to support a different thought or idea. I would rate this podcast to be very good, especially if you are a new Christian and are unsure about many things. This is a great place to start.Read full review »
