Far Beyond Zero
Upon initial exposure to all the "Zero to Travel" media, a skeptic could easily categorize the content as another over-optimistic, millennial "brand." After listening to several of Jason's podcasts however, I'm hooked -- I LOVE this podcast! Jason seeks out the movers, shakers, and outliers on a life path of traveling; aside from storytelling, approach, and reflection, there are "actionable" tips and travel hacks. Though the leap into becoming an itinerant worker or digital nomad may seem far and wide, anyone who travels and is considering the possibilities can get something from the podcasts. I've followed Dave's ESL Cafe for years, but first heard Dave Sperling's voice here. Cruises never really appealed to me, but the idea of catching a "repositioning" cruise ship seems now exciting. I am currently a contractual college instructor who teaches 50% online. I am in the process of figuring out how to become more location independent, and perhaps own a tiny house homebase to periodically return to. Listening to Jason's podcast each week has not only been encouraging, but comforting in the sense that sometimes I feel somewhat alone in my planning.
