It’s probably me…
I’m struggling with my MH - I’ve just discovered “ADHD burnout” as a *thing* and am trying to stop myself getting over-excited that I may have discovered what it is that causes me to shutdown with alarming frequency, and severity… I am searching for accessible insight on ADHD from other adults (I was diagnosed late) and found your show; which looks brilliant: normal people talking about ADHD - just what I need. And then, listening to the burnout episode - I genuinely struggled to make it to the first break. It took 8 mins for any of you to start talking about ADHD burnout. I can’t believe I need to say this, but… people with ADHD don’t have 8 mins to listen to what sounded like three friends having their chit-chat recorded without their knowledge. And then, once you got into the subject, it quickly trailed off again into more waffle. Because I don’t know you guys, I’m not up to speed with your in-jokes or the dynamics of your relationships, so it just felt completely inaccessible, and wasteful. As I said at the start: I'm in a really difficult place right now, and that’s likely skewing my capacity for your podcast (and this review). But equally, surely you’re recording this for people just like me - who are at their wits end and desperate for some insight? If so, please give thought to how you present your content because it sounds more like it’s being recorded exclusively for a select group of friends or followers that have been with you from the start.Read full review »

I’ve learned loads, and I feel less alone with my struggles, knowing that they are not just me being useless, but The Thing. Best of all, this podcast makes me cry with laughter. Thank...Read full review »

As most I stumbled on this show by accident while looking for information on Adult ADHD. The best way to describe this show is: 2 PHD Doctors (not medical doctors) and Mrs ADHD (Squirrel in a cage 😂) later in the podcast discussing day to day issues and questions one may have about ADHD....Read full review »
