Grandmother of 4.5 lovlies aged 3 and under
A Call to Grandma Grammy, Nonny, Nana, Nanny, Mimi, G.G., et all. As a long anticipating grandmother, I could not be more joyous at my role in life now. I subscribe to other blogs, ( Gerber, Lansbury, et all. ) and want to be the best Nanny I can be for my darlings, especially in these early formidable years. As a parent and former teacher, I have firm belief that the early years are incredibly important in forming a child's view of the world, of adults, and of themselves. I want desperately to assist my own children in raising their children to be loving, kind, empathetic, independent, strong willed, ( yes !) and respectful, and to teach them to recognize their own feelings, emotions, and behaviors. I have known the Hannah and Kelty, podcast hosts, since their childhood, and can attest to their brilliance.. Watching them as mothers is a joy, and I can't wait to be a part of their growth, as I hope to grow as well . Listeners, Readers, be ready for "good stuff," as I know their work will be thoughtful, researched, and open. Can't wait to see and hear more.Read full review »

That first episode made me feel like a fog was lifting -...Read full review »

I started in September as a nanny for two very spirited and sensitive kids, aged 10 and 12, and your resources have helped me understand and navigate their big feelings and (ever plentiful) resistance so so much. I felt like a deer in headlights when I started three months ago, but I am slowly...Read full review »
