It was my birthday on Sunday April 2nd so what better way to celebrate than running the 22 miles of Exe to Axe which starts on the Exmouth seafront and finishes on the Seaton seafront.
Organised by Sidmouth Road Runners this is a tough coastal path run which is particularly hard in the second half from Sidmouth.
A great sense of achievement when I crossed the finish line. Distance wise this was my 8th longest ever run whilst time wise at 5:18 it was my 3rd longest time after the Classic Quarter, the Classic Quarter relay and tying with the 2021 Red RAT.
It was a great event - you should do it in 2024!
