Finally: Rending the Banksters' Veil
At any given time I am subscribed to at least a dozen podcasts and never once have I written a review about any of them until now. This podcast is so worthy of an exception because it is sooo exceptional. For years I have been clawing away at the glossy veneer of money's mystery. Like "time", money is an integral part of our reality and yet utterly un-understandable. But now there's finally a podcast devoted to scratching away at this enigma wrapped in a mystery at the heart of all throbbing modern economies. In just the first 8 minutes of the very first podcast I was sold, and you will be to if you are even mildly curious about one of the core values of your life, money. That first podcast is a deep dive into the historical "money-as-debt" origins of fiat money that we all carry in our wallets today. I am not even going to talk about this podcast's great production values or the narrator's British accent (which makes him sound 20 IQ points smarter than the genius he is!) It's is the subject matter that matters the most to me. I am so happy for this podcast and for being directed to it via the "Planet Money" podcast. Gentlemen, start your mental engines I let the education begin!Read full review »
