I thought it was right on. I've been involved in the mental health community for years I even worked as a peer support on A Warm Line. And the part were Gabe became defensive about sleeping and taking meds asking what kind of retarded question is that? That's exactly the kind of defensiveness I experience. Which makes it harder to deal with. I love the recovery community being in AA for years but human services is way to nice. And me being the defensive person I am thinking your way to nice what's your reasoning. And its also sickening sweet. They are just way to nice in the mental health community. So when I heard that I thought yeah they know what they are talking about. I like the argument laughing right now thinking how retarded it is. But yeah That's the way I am in treatment. I have BD and just suffered the textbook spring hypomania with the inevitable downswing. This podcast helped me stay somewhat connected when I really wanted to isolate, it helped encourage me to break out of isolation and practice self care. Thumbs up!

Thank you both for being so transparent about the many struggles that come with having a mental illness. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 in the fall of 2018.
