Too often in the dialogues presented here, there is confusion between what are “political opinions” and what is corrective to our country’s dehumanization of people(s). The consequence, for me, is that the conflicts discussed are diluted and oversimplified.

A BRAVER WAY is yet another Educational, Enlightening and Encouraging tool from BRAVER ANGELS to help us, as Citizens of our United States of America (and our world) to hear one another’s stories; stories that we have not personally lived but that help us to better understand experiences for...Read full review »

I’ve been subscribed to this podcast for a while, but have avoided until now to start listening to it because it seemed like such an intellectual labor to contemplate not just the ‘how’ of trying to listen to people who don’t agree with me, but also the ‘why?’ I feel so heavy all the time...Read full review »

I appreciate the idea of this show and the execution, and the resulting thought that we can all survive together without having to hate everybody who disagrees with us. I wish there was an episode that described how to have a conversation with someone who, or an entire political party, who...Read full review »

I’ve never liked politics and have been living in fear and dread about the 2024 election. This podcast has helped me to begin to feel some peace. I’ve also really enjoyed learning more about politics through his podcast. Something I never thought I would say! Thank you and keep up the...Read full review »

This. This is exactly what my soul has been seeking! A functional democracy requires compromise. And unless we stop demonizing and start seeing and hearing each other, compromise is impossible. This podcast gives me hope that we can steady the ship and help our country be the best that it can be.

Monica Guzman - like Beaver Angels - get mischaracterized from both political sides. You have to listen to understand what “bridging” is about. It’s THE cure to what ails us and US.

So very thankful for the podcast and format - each one teaches and opens my eyes to perspectives not previously considered. It is very thoughtfully curated, including a respectful discussion back and forth between a ‘blue’ and a ‘red’. They really show how to do it right, need much more of...Read full review »

I appreciate the different viewpoints SO very much. Living in a very liberal city and sitting right of center is frustrating at times so I’m grateful to have this resource and am hopeful that my friends on the left will give it a chance.

The more people that listen to A Braver Way, the better off our country will be.

Wow. This podcast, like the broader work of Braver Angels, is a potent example of what America needs right now: stories that let us see the good in one another, dialogue that aims at mutual understanding, and civil conversations between people with very different political views and life...Read full review »

Each episode tackles a completely different aspect of the political divide, which has given me a lot to think about. I really like how the episodes are structured too. Each includes an interview, a red/blue conversation about the interview, a story from an everyday American and ends with an...Read full review »

This podcast takes seriously the fact that we must listen to and try to understand people we don’t agree with. It isn’t easy to do that, and if the country remains in these polarized camps, our pain is going to get worse. Most of us are not extremists, but we can start to feel like we are when...Read full review »

Learning to lead with curiosity rather than judgement, and making the choice to listen without trying to conjure a response is the recipe that will save our union (and your relationships). Thank you for this timely and informative podcast in a sea of division.

We Mexicans are just a different breed of people who see family differently.
