Building bridges & humanizing others
I recently listened to "A Braver Way" podcast, and I must say it resonated deeply with my values. Growing up in a household where my parents had diverse political views, I learned the importance of respecting and valuing different perspectives. This podcast, hosted by Monica Guzman, beautifully captures the essence of bridging political divides and humanizing others. Monica and her guests, who come from across the political spectrum, offer valuable tools, insights, and real-life stories. Listening to their conversations, I was reminded of my own experiences in navigating differing viewpoints within my family. "A Braver Way" inspires listeners to engage in constructive dialogue, regardless of whether they identify as Red, Blue, or something entirely different. In a world often marked by political divisiveness, this podcast serves as a beacon of hope, encouraging us to not only hear but truly understand and connect with people who hold different beliefs. It aligns perfectly with my passion for humanizing everyone I come in contact with, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to bridge the gap and build meaningful connections across the political spectrum.Read full review »

I appreciate the different viewpoints SO very much. Living in a very liberal city and sitting right of center is frustrating at times so I’m grateful to have this resource and am hopeful that my friends on the left will give it a chance.

Too often in the dialogues presented here, there is confusion between what are “political opinions” and what is corrective to our country’s dehumanization of people(s). The consequence, for me, is that the conflicts discussed are diluted and oversimplified.
